The quick answer: Hilton has a Senior Rate for guests 65+ at participating hotels, but the discount is small — and its old AARP discount is gone.
The details
Hilton’s published Senior Rate offer gives travelers 65 and older (and their families) a discount off the Best Available Rate at participating properties — recent guides peg it at up to about 6%, and it varies by hotel. A maximum of two rooms can be booked, the second for family members only; it’s valid for leisure stays, requires proof of eligibility at check-in, and may not combine with other promotions. Note that Hilton’s longtime AARP member discount is no longer offered — AARP’s current hotel partner list does not include Hilton — so the modest 65+ Senior Rate is the only age-related discount left.
How to claim it
On hilton.com, open ‘Special Rates’ in the search box and check ‘Senior Rate,’ then bring proof of age 65+ to check-in. (Qualifying age: 65+.)
